The process of making Crude Coconut Oil at CV Sukatani Perkasa goes through several stages of quality standard testing and a series of production stages before being sent to the customer.

The production stages start from using a coconut meat crusher machine, heating at a certain temperature, squeezing the fruit flesh, to filtering.

Filtering aims to purify and clean unwanted impurities from the resulting Crude Coconut Oil.

After this process, the product produced has not yet become a product that can be consumed directly, because it still contains free fatty acids in coconut oil with a percentage of more than 0.1 percent, a level that is not recommended.

In order to be sold and consumed by the public, a further purification process is needed. After that, the product is ready for distribution.

The final product of processed Oil is not only in the form of cooking oil, but also many other derivative products.

Did you know that Crude Coconut Oil is widely used as a raw material for the food and non-food industries? The natural content in Coconut Oil has long been known to have many benefits.

The use of CNO is very wide. Currently, many industries use CNO as a basic raw material, such as food, cosmetics, and medicine.

In the food industry, CNO is often used as a basic ingredient to produce coconut cooking oil, creamer, margarine, white butter, and even ice cream.

“The big ice cream factories in the world use coconut oil as an ingredient for making ice cream because of its delicious taste. In addition, the presence of coconut oil in ice cream also makes the ice cream have a smooth texture and can strengthen the taste of milk, “said the President Director of CV Sukatani Perkasa, Mr. William. CV Sukatani Perkasa is widely known as a crude coconut oil factory.

CNO can also be processed as raw material for the oleochemical industry for the manufacture of soap and cosmetic products considering that Coconut Oil is enriched with vitamins and minerals.

Coconut Oil has long been known to be good for beauty products because it can nourish the skin.

Coconut Oil also makes the texture of the soap smoother and softer when used to cleanse the body.

Factories that make sunscreen or lotion are also often found using Crude Coconut Oil as the basic ingredient of their products, the natural content of CNO is good for skin protection.

Apart from skin, coconut oil is also widely known to be good for hair. The ingredients in coconut oil are clinically proven to make hair healthier, shiny, moisturize hair, and repair damaged hair.

Researchers have also found that coconut oil is naturally antifungal and antimicrobial, so it can help treat dandruff on the scalp caused by fungus and prevent head lice.

Another use of CNO on a large industrial scale is for biodiesel fuel. CNO is eco-friendly, different from fossil fuels that produce destructive carbon.

CNO is now one of the most popular vegetable oil commodities in the world, as an alternative to Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and soybean oil.

Coconut oil has no environmental issues, while soybean oil in Indonesia is often an imported product.

CNO can be further processed into advanced coconut oil called Refined Coconut Oil aka RBD.

Refined Coconut Oil is crude coconut oil that has been purified, bleached and deodorized. RBD has different characteristics from Crude Coconut Oil because it is exposed to a high-pressure distillation process so that the coconut oil produced becomes clearer, has a bland taste and has no odor.

Refined Coconut Oil is also widely used as a raw material for making soap, cosmetics, and food processing.
